In a chilling incident that has shocked the capital, a minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered in the Dayalpur area of North East Delhi on Saturday evening.
According to police, a PCR call was received at 8:41 PM from Nehru Vihar. Officers arrived at the scene after the victim’s father had already taken her to the hospital. Doctors declared her dead upon arrival and noticed many visible injuries on her face, suggesting a sexual assault.
Investigation Underway
Following the medical report, a case was opened and a thorough investigation began.The police teams from local units, crime branch and the forensic team have been dispatched to investigate the scene and collect evidence.
Multiple police units have been sent out to locate the accused. The case has been made top priority due to its seriousness and the victim’s age.
