Delhi Gym Owner Stabbed 17 Times In Bhajanpura: Shocking CCTV Footage

A 28-year-old man, Delhi Gym Owner, identified as Sumit Chaudhary, alias Prem, was tragically stabbed to death in Delhi’s Bhajanpura area following a brief altercation with a group of men. The incident, which occurred two weeks ago, led to the arrest of four individuals, including two women, by Delhi police on Wednesday.

Sumit Chaudhary, who was out on bail, managed a gym and a tour-and-travel business. He was brutally stabbed at least 17 times, resulting in his death. CCTV footage captured the chilling sequence of events: Sumit was seen standing beside another man outside a home when a verbal spat escalated. One of the assailants, wearing a cap, approached from behind and repeatedly stabbed Sumit.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Joy Tirkey confirmed the arrests, stating that Kartar Singh (33), who already faced a murder charge, Hussain Ali (20), and two women, Shayna (36) and Ashu (38), were detained in connection with the case. All four suspects are residents of Bhajanpura.

DCP Tirkey indicated that the murder is believed to stem from an old rivalry. However, investigations are ongoing as the police continue to question the accused. Efforts are also underway to apprehend Salman alias Sallu (21), who is accused of stabbing Chaudhary and has no prior criminal record.

The community remains in shock as the investigation proceeds, hoping for justice for Sumit Chaudhary and his family.
