Delhi Excise Policy Case: HC Set To Rule On Arvind Kejriwal’s Bail Plea Today

The Delhi High Court is set to announce its verdict at 2:30 PM on Monday regarding Arvind Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest and remand by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Delhi excise policy case. The court will also rule on the Chief Minister’s request for bail in the same case.

The case revolves around alleged irregularities and corruption in the formulation and implementation of the excise policy in Delhi. Kejriwal has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, asserting that the charges are politically motivated. The CBI, however, claims to have substantial evidence linking him to the purported scam.

This verdict holds significant political and legal implications. If the court rules in favor of Arvind Kejriwal, it could bolster his position and discredit the accusations against him. Conversely, a decision against him could lead to further legal challenges and potentially affect his political career.
