Delhi Excise Policy Case: Arvind Kejriwal Sent To Three-Day CBI Custody

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been remanded to three-day custody by the CBI, following his arrest in connection with a money laundering investigation linked to a defunct excise policy. The decision was handed down by vacation judge Amitabh Rawat of the Rouse Avenue court, who stipulated that Kejriwal must appear before the court by June 29, 7:00 PM. This move marks a critical turn in the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the former excise policy, underscoring heightened scrutiny and legal implications for the prominent political figure.
