Datia Road Accident: 5 dead, DCM vehicle overturns near under construction bridge

A road accident took place in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh. Many people have been reported dead after a DCM vehicle overturned in a horrific road accident.

At 06.00 am, the said vehicle fell into the water of the drain while passing through a drain near village Buhara of Datia section police station Dursada of Datia district.

As a result, 3 children, a young man and a woman died by drowning in the flow of water after falling in this accident. So far 5 bodies have been retrieved. The family members are talking about the missing of another person whose search is on.

Two people have been injured who are out of danger who are being treated at District Hospital Datia. The family members are not able to give the correct information about the people in the vehicle because people from different families boarded the vehicle from different places, it is being confirmed from those places.Under RBC 6-4, assistance of Rs 4 lakh per person is being given to the heirs of the deceased due to drowning in water.

A new bridge on the side of Rapte is being constructed by the Madhya Pradesh Bridge Corporation. The construction agency has diverted the road on the old report. No signage and lighting has been arranged on the spot. For this, the responsibility of the construction agency and officials should be fixed.
