In a similar unfortunate event last month, four individuals lost their lives and 15 sustained injuries when an omni bus collided with a lorry on the Chennai – Trichy Highway in Tamil Nadu’s Madhuranthangam, as reported by police authorities.

Additionally, in May, six people tragically died in a bus-lorry collision in Andhra Pradesh’s Palnadu district, with the bus en route from Chinnaganjam to Hyderabad.

In April this year, a family of five, including a child, lost their lives in a car-lorry collision in Kerala’s Kannur district. The accident occurred when the family was traveling from Thalassery to Kasaragod, with the lorry transporting gas cylinders from Karnataka’s Mangaluru.

The police confirmed that four occupants of the car died on the spot, while the child’s death was confirmed later at Pariyaram Medical College Hospital. The lorry driver also sustained injuries in the accident.
