CM Yogi Adityanath: ‘400 Paar’ Reflects Last Decade’s Transformations

As the nation approaches the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed optimism on Wednesday, stating that slogans like ‘400 paar’ and ‘phir ek baar Modi Sarkar’ have not emerged suddenly but are the result of changes witnessed in the country over the past 10 years.

In an interview with ANI, CM Yogi emphasized that the BJP-NDA alliance will achieve the ‘400 paar’ target on June 4. He highlighted the widespread adoption of ‘400 paar’ as a rallying cry among the public, attributing it to the transformative initiatives undertaken across various sectors under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. These initiatives include infrastructure development such as highways and railways, establishment of institutions like AIIMS, IIT, and IIM, as well as schemes like Har Ghar Nal Se Jal and Kisan Samman Nidhi.

Critiquing the opposition’s INDIA bloc, Yogi Adityanath accused them of undermining the Constitution. He pointed out historical instances where the Congress and its allies allegedly disregarded the principles laid down by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, such as the inclusion of Article 370 and the imposition of the emergency in 1975. Yogi also criticized attempts by certain parties to advocate for religion-based reservations, citing examples from the manifestos of the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, and statements made by leaders like Lalu Prasad Yadav. He asserted that such intentions would not succeed as the Indian populace is well-informed.
