CM Bhajan Lal Sharma highlights importance of rising Rajasthan Initiative in London

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized the significance of the Rising Rajasthan initiative for the state’s development in London. He stated that Rajasthan’s youth possess immense talent, and the government’s goal is to create employment opportunities that align with their skills.

Sharma announced plans to organize the Rising Rajasthan Global Summit within the first year of his administration, countering Skepticism from critics who suggested it was premature. “We believe that by holding the summit early in our term, we can lay a solid foundation for future initiatives,” he explained.

The Chief Minister reiterated his long-term vision for the program, aiming to channel the state’s resources toward fostering talent and boosting economic growth. With Rising Rajasthan, the government seeks to not only showcase the potential of its youth but also to attract investment and development that will benefit the state in the years to come.
He said that we are getting good cooperation from South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Germany and the United Kingdom. We are confident that our Rajasthan will become a developed Rajasthan.

The CM said that we want that maximum investment to come from Germany and the UK in the Rising Rajasthan Global Summit. Rajasthan has immense possibilities of investment in mining, minerals, petromax, tourism, agriculture, education and medicine. Referring to Germany, he said that many industries of that country are already established in Rajasthan. We have an old relationship with the UK as well. Both these countries are very strong. They are also economically prosperous. Before coming to the UK, when the delegation went to Germany, we expected that more investors would come to us from there. We have also met industrialists in the UK continuously. Here, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by offering flowers to his statue in front of Parliament House, London.
MOU signed at Lords Cricket Ground

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also reached Lords Cricket Ground in London. There he signed an agreement with Royal Multisport Private Limited. The owner of Rajasthan Royals Cricket Team wants to turn Jaipur into a major sports center. The aim of this initiative is to establish Jaipur as a center of sports with health and entertainment facilities. On this occasion, along with the CM, Rajasthan Royals owner Manoj Badale, Rajasthan Royals cricketer Kumar Sangakkara and members of the Rajasthan government delegation were present.

Also met NICE’s McGuire
The Chief Minister met Hugh McGuire, Senior Scientific Advisor, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) on the second day of the roadshow in the UK. He had a comprehensive discussion on NICE’s work in healthcare.
