Chinar Yuva Centre’s Initiative In Kashmir; Girls Enroll In Self-Defense Training

Chinar YUVA Centre has been at the forefront of transforming lives by providing essential skills and opportunities to the youth of Kashmir. The Centre’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering self-reliance has gained praise from various quarters.

It’s inspiring to see the dedication and passion with which Chinar YUVA Centre under the guidance of Indian Army is empowering the youth of Kashmir. Initiatives like these are instrumental in creating a skilled workforce and fostering socio-economic development in the region.

Empowerment begins with self-defense!

17-year-old Snobar from Sopore who won a silver medal in the All India level championship held in Maharashtra earlier this year. Snobar said that I would like to thank the Indian Army very much who provided us the opportunity and we showed our talent at the domestic level to the whole world. The Yuva center continues to produce talent which is making waves on the international circuit.

To teach girls self defence tactics, Chinar Centre has started training martial arts to girl students Un-Armed Combat techniques & empowered them to break barriers, embrace strength & pave the way for a safer tomorrow. A total of 40 girl students in different age group from different schools of North Kashmir are participating in the course which aims at developing self confidence apart from making them physically robust and psychologically empowered.

Instructor Reyaz Ahmad stated, “The efforts of A total of 40 girl students in different age group from six schools of North Kashmir are participating in the course which aims at developing self confidence apart from making them physically robust and psychologically.
One of the teachers working in this center said that when this center was started, we were very scared and people started threatening us that you are working for the army, but as the situation became better, people’s mindset changed. Today Parents themselves happily admit their kids in our center which is a matter of happiness for us.

Another instructor stated commend their commitment to building a brighter future for the youth of Kashmir.” Chinar YUVA Centre remains steadfast in its mission to empower the youth of Kashmir by providing them with the necessary skills and opportunities to excel in various fields.
