CCTV Captures Accused Dragging Suitcase Containing Himani Narwal’s Body

Hours after police arrested Sachin in connection with the murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal, a CCTV video emerged showing him dragging a black suitcase on the night of the crime. Police confirmed that the suitcase contained Himani’s body, which was discovered on the morning of March 1.

The video, which was taken on February 28 at 10 pm, was taken near the home of Himani, who was killed, officials said. In the video, Sachin can be seen dragging the big black suitcase along an empty street.

Relationship and Financial Disputes SuspectedPolice identified Sachin as a resident of Haryana’s Bahadurgarh and a friend of Himani. However, sources claimed he confessed to being in a relationship with her. Allegedly, Himani had been blackmailing him and had extorted large sums of money, leading to tensions between them.

“The suitcase belonged to Himani, and she was murdered at her residence in Haryana,” sources stated. Haryana Police, however, maintained that the two were just friends. “There was no discussion of marriage between them as the accused is already married,” Rohtak Additional DGP KK Rao said.

Murder Facts and Theft of PropertySachin allegedly strangled Himani with a mobile charger cable. Police made it clear that he had no political affiliations. “There was a financial conflict between them, but we have to confirm the precise facts. The accused said an argument turned violent, and she was strangled,” ADGP Rao clarified.

After the murder, Sachin allegedly stole Himani’s jewelry, ring, and laptop. He then used her scooter to transport and hide these valuables at his shop in Jhajjar before disposing of the body in a suitcase.

Discovery of the BodyHimani’s body was found near the Sampla bus stand in Haryana’s Rohtak district. Passersby noticed the suitcase and alerted the authorities. A forensic team arrived at the scene and confirmed the identity of the deceased. Police noted that her neck was wrapped in a dupatta and that she had mehendi on her hands.

Her body was taken to PGIMS Rohtak for a post-mortem examination.

Congress Demands InvestigationThe Congress party called for a high-level probe into the killing of Himani Narwal, who was closely associated with MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Meanwhile, Himani’s mother, Savita, alleged political rivalry played a role in her daughter’s murder. She claimed that several party members were threatened by Himani’s growing influence and proximity to senior leaders, including Rahul Gandhi.

Savita, who resides in Delhi, had last talked to her daughter on February 27. She disclosed that Himani had gone to attend a rally of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on February 28.
