BREAKING: Seven Air India Flights Threatened with Bomb Hoaxes Today

In a troubling development, seven Air India flights were reportedly targeted with bomb threats early on Thursday, October 17. According to sources, four of these flights were still on the ground while three were already in the air.

Affected Flights

Among the flights involved in this incident was the 9:30 AM service from Mumbai to Pune.

Airline’s Response

In light of ongoing bomb threats over the past 48 hours, the airline has opted against making emergency landings. Instead, only inflight checks will be conducted on the affected flights.

Government Alert

The government is currently on high alert due to a series of bomb threats that have disrupted flight operations across various Indian airlines in the last three days. Previously, 12 flights from different carriers had also received similar threats, raising concerns among the aviation ministry, flight officials, and passengers.

Further updates on the situation are expected.
