Boy and Girl Found Hanging from Tree in Delhi’s Deer Park, Suspected Suicide

The dead bodies of a boy and girl who were almost 17 years old were discovered hanging on a tree at Delhi’s Deer Park. The accident happened on Sunday morning in Hauz Khas area of the national capital. The two teenagers hanged themselves using a shared nylon rope, ANI reported.
Baljit Singh, a security officer at Deer Park, made the discovery at about 6:30 a.m. and promptly informed the police. When they arrived at the scene, the bodies were found hanging on a tree, and investigations began.
The police believe the episode to be suicide as per their preliminary investigation, although further investigations are ongoing. The bodies were taken to the mortuary for post-mortem.
