Wing Commander Aditya Bose, an Indian Air Force officer, has accused being physically attacked close to DRDO Colony in Bengaluru as he was going to the airport with his wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita. In a shocking video now trending on social media, Bose is seen with injuries on his head and face, describing the incident in detail.
Biker Blocks Car, Escalates to Group Assault
As Bose narrates, the accident happened when a biker pulled up behind their car and obstructed them on the road. “A bike came from behind and stopped our car… the guy started abusing me in Kannada. When they saw the DRDO sticker on the car, they said ‘you DRDO people’, and began hurling abuse at my wife,” he says in the video.

As Bose had walked out to reduce tensions, he was reportedly assailed. “The moment I got out, the biker hit me with a key on my forehead, and there was blood. I stood there shouting, Is this how you treat people who serve in the armed forces?” he explained.
Indian Air Force Officer Reports Bleeding Wounds
Bose explained that things grew violent when there were more and more people who added up with the biker. “One man picked up a stone and tried to hit my car. It struck my head. This is what has happened,” he told while touching the blood-scarred injury.
He also stressed the psychological trauma the incident inflicted on him and his wife, who was still on the scene during the attack. The video captures Bose agitated as he asks for an explanation of the treatment given to personnel in uniform.
Police Response Draws Criticism
Bose complained that no assistance came from local authorities when he went to the police station to lodge a complaint. “There was no response,” he said, being disappointed with the delay in action.
Although the motive behind the attack is still unknown, Bengaluru police assured that they have started looking into the incident. NDTV said the authorities have identified Squadron Leader Madhumita and are trying to get the complete details of the incident. No official complaint has been lodged yet.
Officer’s Emotional Plea to Public and Authorities
“This is what Karnataka has become… I couldn’t believe it. God help us. God give me the power not to retaliate,” Bose said at the end of the video, his voice dripping with frustration and disbelief.
Authorities still track down those involved in the alleged assault, and public reaction to the incident mounts on social media.
