BJP strikes back against verbal volleys

After facing verbal volleys from Mamata Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav and all the other leaders at the Trinamool Congress’ Martyrs’ Day mega-rally today, the Bharatiya Janata Party struck back.

Amit Malviya, Co-Incharge West Bengal BJP, took to X and pointed out the duality of Mamata Banerjee’s stand on refugees from Bangladesh.

He wrote that Mamata Banerjee’s stand is “We will not allow Hindu refugees, who came to India to escape religious persecution, to apply for citizenship under CAA and get their legitimate rights. If they insist, we will ask illegal Rohingyas, who vote for the TMC, to burn trains, block roads and kill people. But then she says Bangladeshis are welcome to India.”

“Who gave Mamata Banerjee the authority to welcome anyone in India? Immigration and citizenship are exclusively in the Center’s domain. The States have no locus standi. This is part of I.N.D.I. alliance’s evil plan to settle illegal Bangladeshis from Bengal to Jharkhand, so that they can win elections,” he alleged.

He further wrote: “Mamata Banerjee should know that West Bengal is an inalienable part of India. Millions of revolutionaries have sacrificed their blood to secure a homeland for Hindu Bengalis. This kind of seditious language doesn’t behove a sitting Chief Minister. She must not underestimate the power of the Indian state and anger of the people of Bengal. Her dream of becoming Suhrawardy 2.0 will remain a dream, for all times to come.”

In another post, Malviya wrote: “Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in a public rally today, declares, “She is not a Kafir”. She equates Kafirs to being “darpok” or cowards. With Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim by her side, who recently gave an open call to convert everyone to Islam, Mamata Banerjee unabashedly endorses the abuse against non-Muslims. The Trinamool Congress is hell-bent on destroying West Bengal’s social fabric. Islamisation of Bengal and forced demographic change is alarming, to say the least.

Suvendu Adhikari, the BJP’s Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly, wrote: “Not for the 1st time. She does it habitually and on purpose. When will the Sanatanis wake up and take note of it, is a matter of concern.”

West Bengal unit of the BJP posted: “See who graces TMC’s circus today along with Mamata Banerjee. He is none other than Kolkata Mayor and TMC’s unofficial head of Vote Bank and Cabinet Minister Firhad Hakim.

The same Mamata Banerjee who abused Ramakrishna Mission, Bharat Sevashram Sangh, and ISKON, was merrily walking with radical Islamist Firhad Hakim who dreams of “Dawat-E-Islam” and calls those who don’t belong to Islam as unfortunate and seeks to convert them all to see a crowd wearing skull caps only. His area saw violence against Hindus on Kojagori Laxmi Purnima in 2022. Earlier he proudly termed a particular area of Kolkata as “mini-Pakistan”.

“TMC officially endorses their Gazwa-e-Hind agenda today by promoting this religious fundamentalist.”
