The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chose new state presidents in Bihar and Rajasthan. Madan Rathore, a Rajya Sabha MP, has been chosen Rajasthan’s state president, while Dilip Jaiswal MLC is Bihar’s state unit president.
Jaiswal, Bihar’s current revenue and land reforms minister, has also served as the party’s state treasurer for the past 20 years.
He is also the head of the Sikkim BJP and the managing director of Kishanganj’s Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College.
The party has also nominated Arvind Menon as state coordinator for Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, Harish Dwivedi for Assam, Rajdeep Roy for Tripura, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal for Rajasthan, and Atul Garg for Chandigarh.
