The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has achieved a remarkable feat by reaching 1 crore members within just three days of its membership drive. This achievement, which was reached in precisely 67 hours, has been hailed by BJP IT department head Amit Malviya as a “digital marvel.”
Malviya Praises Digital Achievement
Amit Malviya took to X (formerly Twitter) to commend the rapid growth, stating, “The BJP reaching 1 crore membership milestone, in less than 3 days, 67 hours to be precise, is a digital marvel.” He emphasized that such numbers typically take much longer for even the biggest global digital brands to achieve.
Power of Brand BJP
Malviya attributed this success to the “power of brand BJP,” underscoring the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a strong advocate of Digital India. Modi’s vision of leveraging technology has significantly contributed to this rapid growth. “The overwhelming support for the BJP reaffirms their participation,” Malviya added.
PM Modi Leads by Example
On September 2, the BJP launched its membership drive, inviting both renewal of existing memberships and enrollment of new members. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the first to renew his membership and encouraged others to join during the #BJPSadasyata2024 movement. Modi’s engagement highlighted the party’s focus on its core values and its commitment to its motto, “India First!”
