The spat between the BJP and AAP continues as the saffron party alleges that the National Commission for Scheduled Castes issued a notice to the Punjab government regarding the complaint of alleged ‘sexual misconduct’ by a state minister with a boy, and demanded to dismiss him from the cabinet.
The National Commission for Scheduled Castes has issued a notice against Lal Chand Kataruchak, a minister in the Punjab government, said BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala at a press conference in Delhi on Sunday.
The victim dared to face the camera, saying that he was subjected to sexual misconduct by the minister, who tempted him to give him a job. The minister has been misusing his power, influence and exploiting the young boy. All proofs are available in digital form.
The Punjab governor urged the state government to make it clear that such a man could remain in the cabinet, he said.
Poonawala went on to say that the party’s “sex-for-job model”, provides ‘protection’ to such leaders. Why didn’t Bhagwant Mann act against this minister for so long? Why are AAP and Kejriwal defending such a man?” he said.
