Bengaluru: Man Fined For Letting Kids Stick Heads Out Of Sunroof

A Bengaluru resident faced a fine of Rs 1,000 after allowing his children to stick their heads out of the sunroof while driving on Marathahalli Main Road. A fellow driver recorded the incident and shared it on social media, tagging the police.

The video led to prompt action from the HAL traffic police station, which tracked down the vehicle owner and issued a fine for “rash and negligent” driving.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) M N Anucheth told media, “Such behaviour is considered unsafe and dangerous. While we haven’t recorded any major accidents related to this practice, it remains illegal. Consequently, we are imposing fines of Rs 1,000 on those found guilty of such violations.”
