Bengaluru blast: LPG blast injures six, investigation underway

In a tragic incident in Bengaluru on Tuesday, at least six individuals sustained injuries, and five houses were damaged following a blast triggered by an LPG cylinder.
Local authorities reported that two of the injured individuals are in critical condition and have been shifted to Victoria Hospital, while others are receiving medical attention at Yelahanka government hospital.

The explosion originated from an LPG cylinder stored at a residence in Lal Bahadur Shastri Layout in Yelahanka. The blast not only resulted in injuries but also caused damage to five neighbouring houses. The incident unfolded within the jurisdiction of Yelahanka police station.

The injured victims have been identified as Wasiya Banu, Salma, Shaheed, Asma, and Afroj, while the identity of the sixth person is yet to be determined. The Yelahanka New Town police are actively investigating the case to determine the cause of the explosion.
As the affected individuals undergo medical treatment, the local authorities are working diligently to ascertain the circumstances leading to this unfortunate event.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the potential hazards associated with gas cylinders, prompting a thorough investigation to prevent such incidents in the future.
