Ajay Pratap Singh, the Chairman of Sri Ram Research Centre, expressed that Ayodhya is poised to become the foremost center of Hindutva on the global stage. Speaking at the consecration ceremony of the Lord Ram Temple on January 22, Singh highlighted the remarkable transformation of Ayodhya from years of neglect into a significant city. He stated, “I think that Ayodhya will be the biggest site of Hindutva at the international level.”
“Unimaginable. We had never thought that Ayodhya, which has been neglected for the past 20 years, would take the form of such a big city today. I think that Ayodhya will be the biggest site of Hindutva at the international level,” the head of the lone research centre on Lord Ram said on the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Temple here on January 22.
The Ram Shodh Peeth research centre was built in Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University was estabished in 2001. It is the only research centre on Lord Ram in the country and is working towards unraveling te hidden facts about him. He spread the message of harmony and peace which must be reminded to the people in the new age.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple on January 22. Preparations are underway in full swing for the event, which will draw dignitaries and people from all walks of life.
The temple authorities have announced that the consecration ceremony will span seven days, commencing on January 16. The host appointed by the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra will oversee the atonement ceremony on January 16, featuring the ‘Dashvidh’ bath, Vishnu worship, and the offering to cows along the banks of the Saryu River.
Subsequently, on January 17, a procession carrying the child-like form of Lord Ram (Ram Lalla) will arrive in Ayodhya, with devotees carrying Saryu water in Mangal Kalash to the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
Formal rituals on January 18 will include Ganesh Ambika puja, Varun puja, Matrika puja, Brahmin Varan, and Vastu Puja. On January 19, the lighting of the holy fire will be followed by the establishment of ‘Navagraha’ and a ‘havan.’ The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple will undergo washing with Saryu water on January 20, followed by Vaastu Shanti and ‘Annadhivas’ rituals.
January 21 will witness the bathing of the Ram Lalla idol in 125 urns and its final placement, leading up to the consecration ceremony on January 22 with the morning puja and consecration of the deity in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’ in the afternoon.
