Amid ongoing anti-terror operations, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the forward area of the Line of Control (LoC) in Lupwara. The visit underscores the heightened focus on security and the proactive measures being taken to address emerging threats in the region.
The Indian Army, in a tweet, stated, “General Upendra Dwivedi COAS, visited the forward locations of #ChinarCorps & reviewed the security situation along the Line of Control #LOC. He also interacted with the Commanders and troops on ground. #COAS lauded All Ranks for maintaining high standards of professionalism & exhorted them to remain steadfast in meeting emerging #security challenges.”
This marks General Dwivedi’s third visit to Jammu and Kashmir. Previously, he visited Jammu twice to review the security situation and assess the preparedness of the on-ground forces.
