Anant Ambani, Director at Reliance Industries Limited, has embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage (padyatra) from Jamnagar to Dwarka, the holy city of Lord Krishna, in preparation for his 30th birthday.

Addressing the media, Anant spoke about his dedication, saying, “The padyatra is from my house in Jamnagar to Dwarka. It has been progressing for the past five days, and we will arrive in another two to four days. May Lord Dwarkadhish shower us with blessings. I request the youth to believe in Lord Dwarkadhish and recall Him while initiating any work, as it will be done without hindrance when God is on one’s side.”

A Journey of Faith and Devotion

Anant Ambani began his padyatra from Moti Khavdi, Jamnagar, traversing 10-12 kilometers nightly under Z+ security and local police escort. His journey is a testament to his strong spiritual devotion and faith in Lord Krishna. He will end his pilgrimage at the Dwarkadhish Temple, where he will pray on April 10, his birthday.

This padyatra comes in the wake of recent inauguration of the Reliance Foundation’s Vantara Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where Anant was present to accompany the PM on a walkabout of the facility.

Strong Spiritual Connection of Ambani Family

This is the second time this year that Anant Ambani visited the Dwarkadhish Temple. In January 2025, he had visited the temple with his father Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries. It is very common for members of the Ambani family to visit the temple very frequently, demonstrating their strong belief.

The Ambani family had also attended the Maha Kumbh Mela earlier this year in Prayagraj, where they had a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam. Four generations of the family, including the mother of Mukesh Ambani, Kokilaben, his sons Akash and Anant, daughters-in-law Shloka and Radhika, and his grandchildren Prithvi and Veda, were among them. They had also met Swami Chidanand Saraswati Maharaj at the Parmarth Niketan Ashram and had shared sweets and life jackets while performing their spiritual practice.

A Life Rooted in Spirituality

Anant Ambani’s dedication to spirituality is evident in his frequent pilgrimages. Before his wedding to Radhika Merchant in June 2024, he performed a havan at the Krishna Kali Temple in Neral, Maharashtra, seeking divine blessings for his marriage. “I have come here to invite the Gods and seek their blessings,” he had stated at the time.

His present padyatra also serves to emphasize the strength of spirituality and religion in his life, showing the Ambani family’s devotion to spirituality at key moments of life.
