After a sudden escalation of warfare between India and Pakistan, the fiercest in years. Amul has posted a relevancy ad that’s receiving kudos on social media. The operation began after India carried out Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting nine terror infrastructure targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This was a retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.

As the responses to the conflict keep flowing in from citizens, brands, and celebrities, Amul too entered the fray with its topical ad. Posting the ad on X, the dairy brand captioned: ‘#Amul Topical: The India-Pakistan conflict’. The drawing has the phrase: ‘Send them pakking’, and ‘Amul proudly Indian’.

Amul’s ‘Send them pakking’ ad wins praise amid India-Pakistan tensions following Operation Sindoor and Pakistan’s failed counterattacks.

The painting features the iconic Amul girl saluting three leading figures: Col Sofia Quraishi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri. Quraishi, a member of the Indian Army’s signal corps, and Singh, a helicopter pilot, were among the officers who briefed publicly on Operation Sindoor.

Social Media Reactions Flood In

The Netizens did not wait long. One user posted, “Let’s do it permanently,” while another called the ad “Lovely.” One other posted, “Love the brand Amul,” and then there were those who showed appreciation with salute emojis.

Simultaneously, Indian defense soldiers on Thursday successfully blocked and dismantled missile and drone attacks by Pakistan targeting critical military camps at Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur.

Tweet from Integrated Defence Services on X established the assaults: “Military Stations of Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur near the International Boundary, in Jammu & Kashmir targeted by Pakistan with missiles and drones.”

The Indian Military responded swiftly, ensuring that there were no casualties. “Threat neutralised by #IndianArmedForces as per SoP with kinetic & non-kinetic means,” the defence update stated.
