Union Home Minister Amit Shah strongly condemned Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Asif’s statement suggesting that Article 370 could return if the Congress and National Conference form a government in Jammu and Kashmir. Shah asserted that both the alliance and Pakistan have aligned intentions.
On X, he stated, “Khwaja Asif’s comments about Congress and JKNC’s support for Article 370 and 35A further expose the Congress party. This clearly shows that Congress and Pakistan share the same agenda.”
Shah accused Congress MP Rahul Gandhi of consistently aligning with anti-India sentiments, damaging national pride. “Whether it’s questioning the legitimacy of air strikes or making derogatory remarks about the Indian Army, Rahul Gandhi’s party has always echoed the sentiments of Pakistan and collaborated with anti-national forces,” he remarked.
He emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Article 370 will never be reinstated in Kashmir.
