Amit Shah Calls Rahul Gandhi a “Machine of Lies” in Haryana Rally

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing a public rally in Haryana on Tuesday, launched a fierce attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, calling him a “machine of lies” who can deceive in any language. Shah’s remarks came as part of a broader critique of the opposition during the event.

Shah directly challenged Rahul Gandhi to clarify his stance on the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, asking whether he supported its removal or not. “Rahul Gandhi should clarify whether removing Article 370 was a good or bad thing. In Parliament, he claims that they defeated the purpose of Ayodhya. But it is Modi Ji who has installed Ram Lalla in a grand temple by performing the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, and this doesn’t sit well with Rahul Gandhi,” Shah said.

The Home Minister also took aim at Congress for its failure to implement “One Rank, One Pension” for soldiers, a demand that had been pending for 40 years. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for fulfilling this promise shortly after assuming office in 2014. Shah added that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had been politicizing the Agniveer scheme, while the BJP government, under Chief Minister Nayab Saini, had promised to provide government jobs to Agniveers in Haryana.

Shah also took a swipe at former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, accusing him and his party of spreading lies. “What I promise, I deliver, and whatever Modi Ji commits to, it gets done. No Agniveer will remain jobless–this is the BJP’s guarantee,” Shah said, highlighting the party’s focus on strengthening the army.

Shah further contrasted the BJP’s achievements in Haryana with those of the previous Congress government, noting that during the BJP’s tenure, they had expanded the number of crops procured under MSP from four to 24 and built sports grounds in every district.

Shifting focus to national issues, Shah alleged that the Congress-National Conference alliance in Jammu and Kashmir aimed to release terrorists after elections and reinstate Article 370. “As long as the BJP is in power, Article 370 will never be reinstated,” he declared, adding that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is part of India.

Shah concluded by paying tribute to Haryana’s contribution to India’s armed forces, agriculture, and sports, stating that the state has produced brave soldiers and athletes who have made the nation proud on multiple fronts.
