ADGP Vijay Kumar to Oversee Anti-Terror Operations Amid Surge in Attacks in Jammu

In response to the recent surge in terror attacks in Jammu, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for Law and Order, Vijay Kumar, has been tasked with overseeing the anti-terror operations in the region. Starting today, ADGP Kumar will embark on a tour of all terror-hit districts in Jammu to assess and strategize ongoing efforts to combat terrorism.

Kumar is expected to arrive in Rajouri shortly, where he will closely monitor the situation and the progress of the anti-terror operations. During his visit, he will receive a comprehensive briefing from the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Rajouri-Poonch on the current state of operations.

This proactive move underscores the commitment of law enforcement agencies to restore peace and security in the region amidst the escalating threats.
