413 Drone Attacks Foiled by India’s Air Defence in Rajasthan: BSF

Pakistan launched 413 drone attacks in Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, and Sri Ganganagar districts, but all of them were neutralized mid-air by the air defence system of India, Border Security Force (BSF) Inspector General (Rajasthan Frontier) ML Garg informed on Monday.

Operation Sindoor Success Shared in Jodhpur Media Briefing in Rajasthan

During an interaction with the media at the BSF headquarters in Jodhpur, Mr Garg informed about the force’s success during Operation Sindoor along the Western Border.

He added that Pakistan’s military attacked sensitive targets in Rajasthan, such as the Phalodi air base, but the military forces retaliated with precise timing, precisely where and when needed.

Anti-Missile Tech Prevented Ground-Level Damage in Rajasthan

Mr Garg stated that the Pakistani missiles and drones were not hollow, but none of them were able to reach the Indian ground or cause any harm to any facility here, whether military or civilian.

“Before they could reach the ground, our anti-missile technology and air defence systems destroyed them mid-air,” he said, adding that this was precisely why there was no damage on the Indian side. Whatever fell on the ground was merely drone debris or empty missile shells, he said.

While some homes were inflicted with minor damage, like wall collapse and structural damage, Mr Garg was content that not even a single civilian casualty was reported on the Western Border.

Advance Planning with Modern Tech Averted Major Damage

“Prior preparation with modern resources prevented major loss,” he said.

Senior BSF officers were deployed in areas along the border during the conflict to further consolidate the security arrangements and provide a sense of security among the border dwellers, he added.

Questioned about the Indian preparations on the other side of the border during Operation Sindoor, Mr Garg informed that Pakistan had brought in its army on its border but not even an inch was retreated by a single Indian soldier.
