25-Year-Old Fatally Stabbed In Delhi’s Shastri Park

A 25-year-old man, Johar Abbas, was fatally stabbed by unidentified assailants in the Shastri Park area of Delhi, according to police reports on Friday.

Police officials rushed to the scene upon receiving information about the incident and discovered Abbas’s body with multiple stab wounds on the forehead, wrist, chest, and other areas. He was declared dead upon arrival at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for North East Delhi, Joy Tirkey, informed ANI, “We received a PCR call at 11.50 pm on Thursday regarding a murder in the Shastri Park area. The body was found on the service road near Shastri Park Chowk. The deceased has been identified as Johar Abbas, a local resident near Buland Masjid.”

The motive behind the murder remains unknown, but investigations are ongoing. Abbas had returned to Delhi on Thursday after attending a relative’s wedding out of town. That evening, around 4-5 men came to his house and took him with them. At around 11.50 pm, the police were informed about his body lying on the service road.

The body has been sent for further medical examination, and efforts are being made to apprehend the culprits. This is an ongoing investigation, and more details are expected to emerge.
