Union Railways Ministry on Friday said that the government will develop 1,275 stations which would be given new look under the scheme ‘Amrit Station Yojna’. The Minister of State for Railways Darshana Jardosh said the stations should be accessible from both sides like a business center. “They must be provided facilities with public amenities,” she added. The Minister was replying to questions of the member, Kartikeya Sharma, that how many railway stations have been upgraded and how many railway stations have been included in Haryana’s major upgradation plan? The minister said that the project is very much close to the Prime Minister’s heart.
