On Saturday, ten people have been arrested for the murder of a 27-year-old man by a group of people in the Kotputli-Behror district of Rajasthan, police said.
According to the police, a few forest department employees are suspected to have been involved in the case. Ranjita Sharma, Kotputli-Behror Superintendent of Police invalidated it to be a case of mob lynching, and said that the injury marks on the body were not indicating so.
Sharma said, “Prima facie, the victim died of internal bleeding from the use of a sharp-edged weapon…Ten people have been detained in the case and are being interrogated. A Forensic Science Laboratory team has been called from Jaipur to collect samples from the spot. Soon the accused will be arrested.” The police officer stated the role of three or four forest department employees and two others in the incident has come to light.
