A langar vehicle en route from Amarnath to Hoshiarpur, Punjab, met with an accident in Ramban due to brake failure. The vehicle, carrying 40 passengers, lost control, causing panic among the passengers.
Quick-thinking Indian Army jawans, in collaboration with JK Police personnel, managed to prevent the bus from plunging into the Nalah by strategically placing stones beneath the vehicle’s tyres. Despite their efforts, several passengers, in their panic, jumped out of the moving vehicle, resulting in injuries.
Among the injured are six men, three women, and one child. The Army QRTs, along with an ambulance, promptly responded, providing medical assistance and first aid to the injured at their local medical facility in Nachalana.
