India will produce about 300 million doses of Russia’s Sputnik V Covid vaccine next year. Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, said that the production of Sputnik V has begun in other countries, particularly in India, Korea, Brazil, and China, in an interview with Rossiya 24 TV channel.

“In India, we have agreements with four large manufacturers. India will produce about 300 million doses or more of the vaccine for us next year,” he said. India is the largest vaccine maker, vaccine production and pharmaceutical industry in the world.
