Like every year, this year too, India News is organizing the country’s largest political forum. This event is taking place at the NDMC Convention Centre in Delhi. The program, which started yesterday, i.e., Wednesday, December 13, is on its second day today. It is worth mentioning that this three-day event will continue until December 15 (Friday), 2023. Today, Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, the Governor of Uttarakhand, also participated in this forum. Gurmeet Singh discussed the rescue of the Silkyara Tunnel during his address.

While discussing the rescue of the Silkyara Tunnel, Gurmeet Singh said that these 17 days have taught him a lot. First and foremost, I was delighted to meet the 41 workers. They exhibited satisfaction, courage, and a unique kind of resilience. Imagine staying in such a situation for 17 days, yet there was courage and satisfaction on their faces. The Silkyara Tunnel has taught us a lot. Firstly, how to deal as a nation. If we look at it in detail, various agencies were involved—NDRF, SDRF, BRO, governance, administration, and the army. The most significant aspect was the type of leadership required, and the methods of control and monitoring were excellent. Resources came from all over the world, from America, Australia, Switzerland, and various other places. Gathering and coordinating various equipment such as plasma cutters and different tools in the country were excellent.
