India achieved a historic 18th consecutive series victory at home by defeating Bangladesh in the second Test at Green Park, Kanpur, sealing the series 2-0 and strengthening their position at the top of the World Test Championship 2023-25 cycle.
Despite losing two days to rain, India orchestrated a remarkable turnaround, showcasing exceptional batting on Day 4 and a dominant bowling display on the final day, dismissing Bangladesh for just 146 runs in the first session. Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja each took three wickets, while Akash Deep added one as Bangladesh’s innings concluded in 47 overs.

Bangladesh, who batted first, ended Day 1 at 107/3 due to rain interruptions. Upon resuming play on Day 4, they were bowled out for 233.
