Unacademy announces 3-tier CAT preparation programme

Online learning platform Unacademy has announced to conduct a three-tiered programme for Common Aptitude Test (CAT) aspirants. The three programmes include: CAT Championship (including mock tests and analysis), T20 daily test series (for quick and holistic analysis) and advanced workshops (for improving knowledge and skill). This preparation model is aimed to help students analyse, revise, and rework their approach for the CAT examination. The entire programme has been designed to help aspirants with their preparations. Using the Uncademy platform, learners can prepare under the guidance of educators like Arun Sharma, Meenakshi Upadhyay, Abhilasha Swarup, Ravi Prakash and Bharat Gupta through feedback, strategy sessions, and workshops. Aspirants can log on to the Unacademy website or mobile app, and enroll themselves for the online programme.

 Ashoka varsity students selected for UN Millennium fellowship

 Twelve students of Ashoka University, have been selected for the UN Millennium Fellowship, a joint collaboration by United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and Millennium Campus Network(MCN) for the class of 2020. The program is aimed at building young leaders on university campuses worldwide. It is a semester-long leadership development program that aims to convene, challenge, and celebrate student leaders working towards UN goals. Under the fellowship, the selected students from Ashoka University will be working on diverse projects like educating visually challenged people through audio calls during the pandemic, developing a telemedicine platform which connects volunteer doctors with at-risk migrant workers facing healthcare barriers, alternate solutions to menstrual hygiene, cleaning of Asawarpur water body, a policy framework for instituting waste paper recycling units in Indian universities, establishing mental health support group for people facing pandemic-fuelled isolation, among others.

LPU student wins international honour at IAAC-2020

 Gopalchetty Brahma, a 3rd year B.Tech student of aerospace engineering at Lovely Professional University has won the ‘Silver Honour’ award at the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC-2020). As the one of the world’s biggest online astronomy competitions, IAAC provides students with the opportunity to unleash their creativity and hone their skills in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics. A plethora of students from countries such as the US, UK, Russia, Canada, Germany, China, France, Italy, Spain, South Korea and New Zealand amongst others participated in this competition. Passionate about this subject, Gopalchetty Brahma has been an active participant in various competitions since school days.

 KLAY Preschools and Day Care to host International Summit on Early Years

Bengaluru-based KLAY (Kids Learning And You) Preschools and Day Care is all set to host the 2nd edition of its International Summit on Early Years (ISEY). The conference will be held online and is scheduled to take place on 4 September 2020.
