In a commendable initiative to promote national integration and cultural exchange, the J&K Police has launched the Bharat Darshan tour for students. The aim of this initiative is to provide students with the opportunity to explore the diverse cultural heritage and historical significance of various parts of India.

The Inspector General of Police Kashmir, VK Birdi-IPS, flagged off the first batch of students comprising 66 students along with 3 Caretakers for the Bharat Darshan tour from DPL Srinagar. The police have organized the tour, covering all boarding and lodging facilities, as well as providing air tickets. A total of 651 students from the Kashmir Zone, accompanied by 31 police officers as Caretakers, will participate in the Bharat Darshan Tour in 10 batches, facilitated by air travel.

During an interaction with the touring students, who hail from different parts of the Srinagar district, IGP Kashmir highlighted that the Bharat Darshan tour aims to provide the youth with an opportunity to understand the unity and diversity of India. He advised the students to take full advantage of the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country. The initiative is an effort by the J&K Police to expose the youth to exciting tourist spots, historical places, and other famous landmarks. IGP Kashmir wished the students a fun-filled, safe, and life-changing tour.
