Jalebi actress Digangana Suryavanshi, who has been acting since the age of seven, shared her childhood memory and her mother’s reaction to her first poem when she was only four. Talking about the moment, she says, “I was about four years old when I wrote my first poem. It went something like ‘Aankho ke kashti me, foolon ke masti me, hum dono yun hi chale jaaye’. So, when I read it out to my mother, she was dumbfounded! She couldn’t believe that a four-year-old could write something like that and asked me if I even knew what the words meant. To her surprise, I went ahead and explained to her every word I had written.” Digangana then went onto her first-ever music album at the tender age of ten called ‘Devi Kheer Khalo’. What’s interesting is that the song was in a local Madhya Pradesh language which was completely alien to her, but she grasped the language pretty quickly and sang it flawlessly. She then released her first book at the age of fifteen, and a novel at the age sixteen. Digangana is currently waiting to resume shooting for her Telugu film Seetimaarr where she’ll be seen portraying the role of a journalist opposite Gopichand.
