A reporter came to interview a billionaire businessman. As he entered the bungalow, he was greeted by the man himself in the garden who was watering the plants. “I guess good gardeners are tough to find,” said the reporter. The billionaire said, “I have a gardener, yet I like to work on the garden myself. The garden reminds me of the reality of my life that one day we all are going to become just soil.” “How about other chores of the house?” “Oh! I work on all parts of my house. I have a cook but when I’m free, I cook the food myself. Standing in front of the fire always reminds me that ‘the challenges of life always come with a little heat that we have to bear before we deserve the food’. I clean my cars whenever I’m free, gives me a good cardio exercise. I love sweeping the floor, carrying the furniture if I have to. That’s my weight lifting. When I’m working, I’m busy in the office. Today is my rest day and I enjoy doing my house chores. I love having an active life. I’m 80 and still walk at least 5 kilometres daily. I always tell my children never to see work or chores as a burden. Enjoy the little jobs you get to do, it keeps you on the move. Be mobile as long as you are alive. We are going to rest permanently one day, then why not be on the move as long as you are alive?»
