TRS leader Madhu Yadav was arrested in a sensational case of murder and rape of a domestic help. Of late, a domestic help died in the TRS leader’s house and previously it was treated as a suicide case but after the complaint of the victim’s sister it was converted as murder and rape.

Both the family of the deceased and the Opposition have raised suspicions on the way in which the Moinabad police handled the investigation. The locals are demanding that he should be handed over to them for quick punishment or police should do what they did in Disha case.

Several Congress leaders visited the victim’s family and demanded justice for the victim.

The DCP of Shemsabad said, “The victim’s sister stated that the accused Madhu Yadav used to come home after consuming alcohol and would take her elder sister in a room and rape her. On the night of 25 September, the accused came home and as usual, took her elder sister to his room and in the early morning, he left the house and came back in a while. When the complainant girl went into the room on the first floor, she found her sister hanging by the ceiling fan.” Leaders from several political parties, the Congress, AIMIM and MBT, visited the family to offer support.

Former Chevella MP Konda Vishveshwar Reddy called the incident a clear case of child labour and murder. “They immediately deleted the Facebook page of TRS leader Madhu with pictures of him in TRS Khandwa with party leaders. Officials took away the victim’s Aadhar card age proof. It was an attempt to show her as a major,” he tweeted. Amjed Ullah Khan, lawyer and spokesperson for MBT party questioned the police. In a tweet, he said, “The police have booked only one person. They have not even checked if there are any accomplices. They are not investigating properly. In the Disha murder case, everyone visited the family and consoled them but here, no one from the TRS party has even made a comment condemning the incident.” Meanwhile, Home Minister of Telangana Mohammed Mahmood Ali convened a meeting regarding the Moinabad incident.

All police officials such as Cyberabad CP V.C. Sajjanar, Prakash Reddy, D.C.P, Shamshabad, etc were present in the meeting. The Home Minister enquired in detail regarding the death of the woman. The case has been registered at Moinabad Police Station. Officers told the Home Minister that based on the statement of the victim’s sister, the Police altered the sections of law and the accused TRS leader Bathuku Madhusudhan alias Madhu Yadav has already been arrested under Nirbhaya Act and Juvenile Justice act and sent to Judicial Custody.

They said the accused was reported to be a Rowdy Sheeter having a criminal history of involvement in 3 land related cases. Ashok Chakravarthy, ACP, Rajendra Nagar has been appointed as an inquiry officer.

The seaplane, which arrived in Ahmedabad from the Maldives via Kochi, Goa and Kevadia, is said to be 50 years old. The registration number of this seaplane is 8Q-ISC.

According to the website, www.airport-data.com, which provides information on the manufacture and sale of various aircraft, the Twin Otter 300 model was manufactured by the Plane de Havilland Canada Company in 1971.

It was first delivered to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Ottawa, Canada on July 27, 1971. Since then the number of owners of these planes has changed. It is currently registered with the Maldives airline.

According to Viking Air, which has a fleet of sea-planes, the age limit of this plane is very long.

The fare of this flight from Ahmedabad to Kevadia is Rs. 4800. The flight will be operated by SpiceJet in Gujarat.

A SpiceJet spokesperson said the SpiceJet-selected (Twin Otter 300) seaplane is one of the safest aircraft used in the world and in the Maldives. The aircraft is regularly serviced and is in top-class condition.

People are constantly inquiring about the booking, fare and discounts on this plane. More than 500 people inquired on Monday on the airline’s helpline number along with tour operators.

The difference between an airplane and a sea-plane is that airplanes land and take-off on land. While seaplanes can land and take-off on the water surface i.e. sea, river or lake.

The Ahmedabad-based twin-otter seaplane weighs 3,377 kg and has a fuel tank with a capacity of 1419 litres, maximum 5170 kg can fly with weight. The seaplane is 15.77 metres (51 feet) long and 5.94 metres (19 feet) high.

According to Captain Ajay Chauhan, the seaplane PT6A-34 has two engines with single-stage free turbines. The Sea-plane has a capacity of 19 passengers.

Capt. Chauhan further said that the seaplane does not have computer controls and flies at low altitudes where all the controls are in the hands of the pilot. Airplanes land and take off on a stable surface of the ground while seaplanes take off and land on a liquid and dynamic water surface. This makes the operation of a sea-plane pilot more challenging.

Gujarat’s eight assembly seats will be going to bypolls on November 3. Therefore, BJP leaders are of the view that PM’s presence just two days before voting in the state will send out a message to the voters.

The government has imposed Section 144 at Devaragattu village of Kurnool district this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic where the annual stick fight takes place.

Despite police restrictions, the imposition of Section 144, and setting up check posts everywhere; people did not stop. By 10:30 PM a huge number of people assembled and started fighting with sticks.

Stick fight is generally celebrated at night of Vijayadashami to celebrate the victory of Lord Mala Malleswara Swamy and Goddess Parvati Devi over demons Mani and Mallasura who used to trouble people and saints of Devaragattu region.

The villagers usually fight among themselves to take the god’s idol to their village. Those who win the fight take the idol to their village. This is an ancient ritual. The locals believe that if they manage to take possession of the idols, it will bring prosperity to their village.
