The new release date for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 has been officially announced. The movie is now set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026. Spider-Man 4 has been delayed by a week, making it unreleasable on its originally planned date.The delay is due to a scheduling shift.
Spider-Man 4, directed by Jon Watts and produced by, needs to be delayed for a week, from July 24th, 2026, to July 31, 2026, it has been confirmed by Sony Pictures. The delay puts it after the Christopher Nolan-directed ‘Odyssey’, which also stars Holland and comes out on July 17.

Sony made the announcement about the new release date, with Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, helming the project.
This new arrangement reassures everyone’s expectations, Spider-Man 4 would surely follow the enormously touted rollout of Avengers: Apocalyptic, keeping Marvel on the synchronization of the release timeline.
Tom Holland’s Filming Schedule
While talking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, Holland confirmed that Spider-Man 4 would be starting its filming in mid-2025. “We’re going to start in the summer; so all good—it’s 90 percent done!” he exclaimed.
