Sabrina Carpenter Ignites Summer Hype with ‘Manchild’ Drop and Ex Rumours

Sabrina Carpenter shook up summer playlists with Espresso last year. Now, she’s back and ready to dominate once again. Fans have been eagerly waiting for her next move.

Soft Tease Turns Into Clear Message

Earlier this week, she posted a cryptic teaser. Fans began guessing it might be a new single. Later, she made it official. Her new song is called Manchild.

Soon after, fans started connecting the dots. Sabrina and actor Barry Keoghan went public in February 2024. However, they reportedly broke up by December.

With her caption, “this one’s about you!!”, many believe the song is clearly directed at Barry. Also, she hasn’t been linked to anyone else since.

Hints Began with ‘Please Please Please’

When Please Please Please dropped, the lyrics and music video raised eyebrows. Barry even appeared in the video, fueling speculation. While Sabrina never confirmed it, fans thought he inspired that song too.

Internet Reacts with Excitement

The internet couldn’t stay calm. Katy Perry commented, “sounds straight to the point, here for it 🎯.” Another fan said, “he didn’t listen when you wrote please please please, so he deserves this song 😍.”

Brands Join the Fun

Major names jumped in. Spotify joked, “sabrina said y’all need another song of the summer?” The Recording Academy declared, “from now on all men must first speak to us before they can speak to our GRAMMY-winning sabrina 😤.” Even Walmart said, “NOW we can begin summer.”
