Patrick Schwarzenegger revealed that his fiancée Abby Champion was stunned after watching his shocking incest scene in The White Lotus season 3. He opened up about her reaction during his interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on April 10.
He Kept Everything a Secret
Schwarzenegger said he didn’t share any plot details with anyone—not even his fiancée.
“I didn’t tell anybody,” he told Fallon.
Champion kept asking for spoilers. She wanted to know who dies or whether Patrick kissed anyone on the show. However, he only replied, “Baby, you know The White Lotus,” hinting at the show’s unpredictable and wild nature.
He Refused to Spill Any Details
Schwarzenegger stuck to his NDA. He didn’t reveal anything, not even to Champion.
“I’m not telling you who dies! I signed my life away. Mike [White, the show’s creator] will fire me,” he remembered telling her.
Since Champion was unaware of the storyline, the incestuous scene completely shocked her.
Abby Was Horrified by the Scene
In a surprising twist, Schwarzenegger’s character Saxon kisses his younger brother Lochlan, played by Sam Nivola, during a drunken party. In another moment, Lochlan gives Saxon a handjob.
Champion didn’t expect it at all.
“She was like, ‘You got with your brother?!’” Patrick said, making Jimmy Fallon laugh out loud.
Sam Nivola Also Struggled to Stay Quiet
Unlike Patrick, Sam Nivola found it tough to keep the scene a secret. He admitted to Variety that he told his parents.
“I told my parents, but I haven’t told my sister. She’s bad at keeping secrets,” Nivola said.
Despite being under strict NDAs, Nivola said he told his girlfriend Iris Apatow. She was on set when the scene was filmed.
“That’s about it. I’m really scared about getting sued by HBO,” he added.
The White Lotus season 3 is currently streaming on Max. The show continues to surprise fans with its bold storytelling and intense character dynamics.
