Eurovision 2025 Semi-Finals: Where to Watch and Listen | VIDEO

The Eurovision 2025 Semi-Finals will be held on May 13 and 15, featuring 37 countries. The top ten from each Semi-Final will advance to the Grand Final. The United Kingdom, France, and Germany automatically qualify and can vote.

Eurovision 2025 Semi-Finals: Where to Watch and Listen | VIDEO

Before the Eurovision Grand Final on Saturday, May 17, when 26 contestants will fight for the Eurovision 2025 title, there will be two live Semi-Finals featuring all 37 competing countries.

The leading ten nations from both Semi-Finals will make it to the Grand Final. The United Kingdom (as well as Spain, Germany, France, and Italy), as one of the Big Five, qualifies directly for the Grand Final. Host nation Switzerland also gets an automatic spot due to Nemo’s win in 2024.

The Semi-Finals take place on Tuesday, May 13, and Thursday, May 15, 2025.

Eurovision 2025 First Semi-Final

Live on iPlayer, BBC One, Radio 2, and BBC Sounds at 8 pm on Tuesday, May 13, the first Semi-Final will include performances from the following nations:

  • Iceland: VÆB – RÓA
  • Poland: Justyna Steczkowska – GAJA
  • Slovenia: Klemen – How Much Time Do We Have Left
  • Estonia: Tommy Cash – Espresso Macchiato
  • Spain: Melody – ESA DIVA
  • Ukraine: Ziferblat – Bird of Pray
  • Sweden: KAJ – Bara Bada Bastu
  • Portugal: NAPA – Deslocado
  • Norway: Kyle Alessandro – Lighter
  • Belgium: Red Sebastian – Strobe Lights
  • Italy: Lucio Corsi – Volevo Essere Un Duro
  • Azerbaijan: Mamagama – Run With U
  • San Marino: Gabry Ponte – Tutta L’Italia
  • Albania: Shkodra Elektronike – Zjerm
  • Netherlands: Claude – C’est La Vie

Italy, Spain, and Switzerland qualify automatically for the Grand Final and viewers in these nations will be able to vote in the Semi-Final.

Eurovision 2025 Second Semi-Final

The second Semi-Final will be on iPlayer, BBC One, Radio 2, and BBC Sounds at 8 pm on Thursday, May 15, with:

France, Germany, and the United Kingdom qualify directly to the Grand Final, with voting open to viewers from these nations.

The viewers will also get to see UK reps Remember Monday perform their song “What The Hell Just Happened?”

Eurovision 2025 Semi-Final Hosts and Commentators

The Semi-Finals will be presented by Richie Anderson and Sara Cox on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds with commentary from Rylan and Scott Mills. The Grand Final and Semi-Finals will be covered by Hazel Brugger, Michelle Hunziker, and Sandra Studer.

Comedian and host Hazel Brugger will host the Semi-Finals alongside Sandra Studer. International face Michelle Hunziker will be appearing on the show as well. Studer, who had already represented Switzerland at the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest, is a legendary Swiss entertainer.
