Demi Moore has been named People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Person of 2025, a title that goes against conventional beauty standards, particularly those of youth. At the age of 62, the Hollywood legend is being recognized for her timeless beauty and wisdom.

During a recent interview with People, Moore opined on aging, beauty, and self-acceptance. She said, “I have a better understanding of everything my body has gone through that led me to where I am now. Not that sometimes I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and don’t go, ‘Oh God, I look old,’ or ‘Oh, my face is dropping’, I do. But I can embrace that that’s where I’m at today, and I understand the difference today is that it does not determine my worth or who I am.”

Looking back at her previous years, Moore admitted she used to punish herself for concentrating only on physical attractiveness. Today, she focuses on the whole health and mental state. “It’s more about longevity and quality of life. And I think I’ve become more gentle with myself,” she continued.

2025 has been a remarkable year for Moore, with various awards for her performance in The Substance. She won several awards, such as Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at SAG Awards 2025, Best Actress (Musical/Comedy) at the 82nd Golden Globes Awards, and Best Actress at the Critics Choice Awards 2025. Her acting as a woman struggling with emotional distress made her an Oscar nominee for Best Actress this year.

Discussing the whirlwind of success, she said, “It’s been like a full pregnancy, really joyous moments, exhausting moments. But overall, it was an extraordinary time and experience.” Her acting in The Substance, which won over critics and audiences alike, reflects her capacity to play intricate roles with depth and authenticity.
