The ‘Conclave’ won so many awards, including the Best Picture Award, Outstanding British Film, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Editing at the 78th British Academy Film Awards on Sunday.

With 12 nominations to its name, ‘Conclave’ had the highest number of nominations among all films at this year’s BAFTAs: Best Film, Best Director for Edward Berger, and Best Actor for Ralph Fiennes, alongside Best British Film, Best Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actress, Best Original Score, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, and Best Casting.
With four major awards under its belt, Conclave has solidified its reputation as one of the best films of the season. This is the first time since 2019 that a film has won both Best Film and Best British Film in the same year.
