Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh, presided over the Himachal Pradesh Eco Tourism Society meeting on Monday night and declared that the state government would actively promote eco-tourism and that the necessary infrastructure was being built. According to Sukhu, the government has identified 11 eco-tourism locations in scenic and natural forest areas, including Swaar, Saurabh Van Vihar, Neugal Park, Bir-Billing in the Palampur forest division, Kasol, Kheer Ganga, and Sumarupa in the Parvati forest division, Sojha in Seraj, Narkanda in Kotgarh, and the Shogi camping site in addition to the Potter Hill campground within the Shimla forest division.
