Civilians Injured in Rocket Strikes
According to The Times of Israel, seven individuals, including a one-year-old girl, were injured. The baby, a 27-year-old woman, and a 35-year-old man were hit by shrapnel in the town of Bi’ina and were rushed to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
Major Targets Hit
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for targeting a training base for the Paratroopers Brigade in Karmiel. The group also launched 50 rockets at the Galilee region, with several hitting nearby towns.
Haifa Attack: A Key Target
In a significant escalation, Hezbollah fired 90 rockets at Haifa in two waves. The first wave of 80 rockets was largely intercepted by IDF air defenses, though some hit surrounding towns. A second wave of 10 rockets was also intercepted or landed in open areas.
IDF Responds Swiftly
Following the Haifa attack, an IDF drone destroyed a Hezbollah rocket launcher responsible for the strikes. The military reiterated its commitment to defending Israeli civilians from further aggression.
The situation between Israel and Hezbollah continues to escalate, with both sides trading heavy fire.
