The state government has decided to provide aviation services to the citizens of the state as soon as possible. As part of this, Ventura AirConnect, in collaboration with the state government, will launch interstate air services from Surat and helicopter joy ride service from Ahmedabad Sabarmati riverfront on January 1.
Civil Aviation Minister of Gujarat Purnesh Modi has said that Navsari MP C. R. Patil will launch Ventura AirConnect’s interstate air services from Surat Airport tomorrow. He added that Ventura Airconnect Ltd., a Surat-based airline providing interstate air services. From 1 January 2022 by 9 seater flights from Surat to Ahmedabad, from Surat to Bhavnagar, from Surat to Rajkot and from Surat to Amreli; these will start daily flights from these 4 cities. The state government has entered into an agreement with airline Ventura AirConnect to connect various cities in the state by air. As part of which the airline will be provided by Cess’s Grand Caravan, one of the safest categories in the world.
The aircraft will be flown by Ventura with 9 passengers and 2 pilots and the journey from Surat to Bhavnagar in 30 minutes, from Surat to Amreli in 45 minutes, from Surat to Ahmedabad in 60 minutes and from Surat to Rajkot in 60 minutes. Launched in collaboration with the state government, the fast air service will benefit the elderly and the disabled in times of emergency, as well as industries and tourism. In order for all classes of people to benefit from these airlines, a uniform Rs. 1999 ticket rates have been kept. Thus, in the New Year, Surat residents will get the benefit of new aviation service.
Helicopter Joy Ride service for the entire Ahmedabad Darshan from Sabarmati Helipad has also been launched by Cabinet Civil Aviation Minister Purnesh Modi from today so that people get acquainted with the culture of the historical city of Ahmedabad and see the important places of Ahmedabad. The helicopter can now also be used as an ambulance for Gujarat tourists in emergencies and will be useful for senior citizen travelers to visit pilgrimage sites. In addition, this helicopter can also be used for dignitaries in Vibrant Gujarat.
