A video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacting with a young girl during his visit to Wayanad, Kerala, has gone viral on social media.
During his visit to the landslide-affected region, PM Modi met with victims and their families at a local hospital. As he made his rounds, he encountered a little girl who joyfully began playing with his beard and spectacles.

The child’s innocent and friendly behavior touched PM Modi and highlighted a warmer, more compassionate side of the Prime Minister. The video, shared on social media, shows the girl treating Modi as a family member rather than a political figure.
In the aftermath of the July 30 landslides, PM Modi visited Wayanad via helicopter from Kannur airport. He conducted an aerial survey of the damage, walked through the disaster-stricken Chooralmala, and visited a relief camp. He interacted with survivors, including two children who had lost their loved ones in the tragedy.
During the visit, Modi expressed optimism that the Union government would respond positively and sympathetically to the state’s needs. He assured that the lack of financial assistance from the Centre would not leave the state at a disadvantage.
