Yesterday, Rajasthan’s Medical Minister Parsadi Lal Meena said that those who hand over politics to sons drown quickly and this is why he has not yet handed over politics to his sons. The Health Minister reached Kankaria Gram Panchayat of Lalsot Assembly Constituency of Dausa on Thursday to lay the foundation stone of a classroom. In the general meeting, he kept his views on familyism and dynasties. He said, “I have been a public representative in the Laxmangarh assembly constituency for 27 years and six months out of 75 years of Independence. The rest of the term has also been of other people. Evaluate the development work done during my tenure and the development work done during the stay of others.”
Without naming anyone, Meena said, “The people who came to you to ask for votes, their ancestors have also been MLAs. How much development work did their ancestors do? You take account of it. If our government had gone, we could not have done development work.
It is the grace of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot that the government completed its term and got every possible development done.” The health minister said, “The central government has given a subsidy of Rs 400 per cylinder. In the Congress rule, the cylinder itself used to be Rs 400. Until the central government does not make the price of gas cylinder Rs 400, does not reduce the prices of diesel and petrol, the people of the country will not forgive the BJP.”
